Ground Spline Shaft: NB ball splines are precision ground to ensure tight tolerances allowing for smooth, quiet, super accurate linear motion. The SSP series is also available with non-ground commercial shaft.
High Accuracy Torque Transmission: Due to the effective contact angle between raceway and balls, the SSP ball spline can transmit large torque.
High Rigidity: The large contact area between raceway and ball bearings ensures a highly rigid linear motion system.
Low Noise: NB pride themselves on offering the quietest, smoothest running ball splines in the industry. With the unique recirculation design in both the spline and rotational sections, a low decibel is realised.
High Accuracy: With accuracy figures of just 6µm/100mm, an NB ball spline will suit even the most demanding precision applications.
Easy Machining: Since a round shaft with raceway grooves is used, NB ball splines can easily be custom machined.
