RVF Series Flat Surface Mounting Gonio Way

The RVF type Gonio Way from Nippon Bearing (NB), consists of a curved raceway with a precision ground V-groove, a flat mounting surface, and a curved roller cage with cross rollers.

Low friction resistance micro feed

The precision grinding process and curved roller cage ensure extremely low frictional resistance and almost no difference between starting friction and dynamic friction so that even minute feeds are accurately followed, resulting in high-precision curved motion.

Low noise

The gonio way is a non-circulating type, so there is no noise generation in the circulation section, and the curved roller cage eliminates contact noise between the rolling elements, resulting in quiet operation.

High rigidity and high load capacity

Rollers have a larger contact area than balls, resulting in less elastic deformation. Furthermore, because they are non-circulation type, they have a larger number of effective rolling elements, resulting in high rigidity and high load capacity.

Flat mounting surface

The RVF type has a flat surface for mounting, eliminating the need for difficult machining of the table, or bed for assembly of this product, thus significantly reducing machining costs.

Identical centre of rotation position

The RVF type has a curve transfer groove that is precision ground to obtain an accurate centre of rotation. The RVF type is also configured so that the same centre of rotation position can be obtained even when two axes of each size are combined.
