The KM-W-12, 12mm linear bearing shaft from Kiwi Motion is a precision-engineered solution designed to provide stable, repeatable linear motion in a wide range of low to medium load applications.
With a diameter of 12 mm, it offers a balance of stiffness, durability, and accuracy, making it ideal for both industrial and laboratory environments.
Manufactured from high-quality CF53 steel, each KM-W-12 shaft is precision ground and induction hardened to ensure excellent surface hardness and long service life.
The 12mm linear bearing shaft is finished to an h6 tolerance, with roundness controlled within 5 µm and straightness within 0.20 mm per metre.
This high level of precision delivers smooth, low-friction linear motion and consistent performance in both static and dynamic systems.
The 12 mm diameter KM-W-12 shaft is particularly well suited to applications requiring moderate rigidity and wear resistance, where a smaller shaft may not provide adequate stability. Typical uses include:
